The 2025.4 release delivers major advancements in Warehouse, Transportation, Commerce, Planning, and Sustainability. With new mobile apps, enhanced AI-driven insights, and an improved user experience, Blue Yonder helps modern supply chains operate faster and smarter.

Our Warehouse Management solution now handles increased complexity with pull-based streaming for smoother, capacity-aware operations. We have also enhanced our AI and ML capabilities for explainability, dynamic slotting, and work optimization.

  • Pull-based streaming: This feature eliminates batches and turns orders into a continuous stream based on critical workflow needs. It ensures orders are sequenced and released according to real-time capacity, increasing warehouse throughput and optimizing labor.

  • Enhanced operational efficiency: New pick-to-store, grid, and flow-through capabilities improve inventory flow, streamline outbound operations for store replenishment, and create a ‘touchless’ process for distributing inbound inventory.

  • Warehouse Ops Agent and labor forecasting: Get intraday task and labor forecasts with explanations for better execution. The agent provides pre-shift briefs, recommends resource swaps, and dynamically adjusts slotting plans to optimize resource use and throughput.

  • Yard management and returns: Automated, camera-based yard tracking provides real-time visibility, replacing manual audits. A complementary warehouse returns solution now uses smart disposition to determine the most profitable outcome for each returned item.

Key updates streamline logistics with smarter routing, AI-driven alerts, an upgraded user interface, and expanded support for continuous and ocean-based moves—making collaboration and execution faster and more reliable.

  • AI and machine learning: Use ML for smarter, predictive routing and receive generative AI briefs that flag unrouteable shipments and suggest fixes. Proactive AI alerts warn of disruptions, helping you save time and costs.

  • Improved user experience: A persona-driven interface for logistics procurement, transportation modeling, and smart bench makes workflows more intuitive and efficient.

  • TMS and Blue Yonder Network: Expanded support now includes continuous moves and ocean-based movements. The network facilitates seamless communication with carriers, fleets, and LSPs for bookings, tracking, and invoicing, with full visibility.

Commerce now unifies order and returns management with OMS embedded AI agents and a smart disposition engine.

  • Order-driven demand planning: Enable proactive planning and adaptability across your fulfillment networks for smarter, unified decisions across planning and execution.

  • New fulfillment and customer service agents: Proactively analyze risks, explain sourcing decisions, and recommend corrective actions to improve on-time delivery and boost agent productivity.

  • Unified returns decisioning: Smart disposition determines the most efficient, profitable, and sustainable outcome for every returned item and predicts the best store or warehouse destination maximizing its resale potential and value.

Easily track and optimize your carbon footprint with integrated sustainability data, calculations, and modeling that are part of our cognitive solutions for planning and the Blue Yonder Network. You can now seamlessly oversee carbon and waste emissions across your operations.

New unified planning breaks down silos and uses AI to align inventory, orders, and replenishment across teams and partners. Collaboration and response times are faster and more efficient.

  • Boundary-less planning: Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Demand and Supply Planning are now connected, improving decision speed and quality.

  • New Inventory Ops Agent: This agent pinpoints supply–demand imbalances and recommends plan adjustments, acting alongside your team to deliver faster responses.

  • Network-enabled collaborative planning: Dynamically coordinate orders, capacity, inventory, and production across tiers. This simplifies collaboration, improves transparency, and streamlines planning and execution.
